Summer was found caught in a fence with her mother unable to save her baby, hanging by her leg for hours until a very kind lady rescued her from certain death. Initially, her injuries seemed to be minor until undergoing x-rays and a lookover from a vet, where we discovered that she had a compound fracture in the bottom half of her leg as well as an ulcer in her eye caused by her thrashing in the dirt which may still be lost. After going through surgery and the removal of a splintered bone, she is back on track for recovery and beginning to trust us more. - Follow her journey on our social media, by clicking here.
